REALLY I'M JUST A SPEC!

Hey, I'm Stephen Garner and I'm from Silver Spring, MD which is just outside of our nations capital. Over the break I saw a play called "August: Osage County" which was a story about family conflict. The production was at the Kennedy Center in D.C. and the playwright was ranked on Entertainment Weekly's top 100 Entertainers of the year.
I think a major pro to the advancement of media in our culture is the ability to make and maintain connections at the click of the mouse and a stroke of the keyboard. On the other hand there is a fair amount of useless and false information spread throughout various outputs. I've been very intrigued by science recently, in particular the studies of a guy named Carl Sagan who has written a lot of literature on "the cosmos." Check out his book, "Pale Blue Dot."

This is a project that a guy put together where he took excerpts of different scientists lectures and used auto-tuning to put them to music. The guy who usually wears a brown suede jacket is Carl Sagan.
